In the first hour the hens will be taught a dance routine in a relax and fun atmosphere. A short break will then follow where the group can enjoy a celebratory drink and nibbles. In the second hour the hens will get the chance to step into the spotlight, as vocal tutors will direct the group in a madcap series of singing games. You and your friends get to choose the music as well as the style of dance, and you are positively encouraged to glam up with props and costumes in keeping with your chosen theme! For The Boys - It's a Knockout Using the same formula and props from the classic TV programme, your fiance and his stags can enjoy an hilarious day playing It's a Knockout! This great activity is organised by Innov8 Events, who will arrange a suitable venue for the proceedings and will provide all the necessary equipment. Example activities include Fe Fi Fo Fall! where participants climb inside a 10ft giant costume and run across conveyor belts operated by the opposing teams. Steve and Lisa Nicholls from Bournemouth, both 32, invited all their friends on a joint hen/stag weekend. Lisa says: “ A few people were surprised when I announced our joint do. One of my girlfriends said: “What are you doing? This is your last night of freedom!” Some of the girls said ”Ok, I suppose we’ll end up in a strip club.” But Steve and I went to a company called Innov8 Events who helped find the right mix for boys and girls. First we did karting, which was great fun. It was really competitive and there were lots of jokes about women drivers – but we went as fast as the guys, and you can imagine the banter. After that we did cocktail-making classes. The girls had fun making them and the boys had even more fun drinking them. Steve says: “The karting event was a great laugh – I’ve been on a few stag dos which were not as well organised as ours- it’s often just a case of messing around and then going down the pub." |
