Why not take advantage with a luxury yacht or RIB on Cowes Week.When seven yachts signed up for the first organised yacht race at Cowes on 10th August 1826, it is unlikely anyone envisaged that this would become the annual world-class yachting event that we now know as Skandia Cowes Week. With over 1,000 yachts and 8,500 competitors taking part in some very challenging first-class sailing, the Event attracts a wide range of local, national and international entrants, from true amateurs to Olympic and World champions.
YACHT CHARTERS Why not take advantage of a Luxury Yacht in Cowes week. Enjoy the sailing as well as being able to watch the racing from your own vantage point. A perfect way to reward staff and clients, allowing those who wish to be hands on or giving you the opportunity to just sit back and relax and take it all in. Sample itinerary: 09:00 – Arrive Lymington Yacht Haven for coffee and a selection of pastries. 09:30 – Meet your skipper and hostess and are escorted to your waiting yacht where your skipper will conduct a full H&S brief, and give you time to familiarise yourself onboard. 10:00 - depart the berth and head out in to the Solent to watch the racing and sail your own yacht under the guidance of your professional skipper and crew. 12:30 – Well earned lunch break, a buffet Lunch served on board the yacht, this may be at anchor under gently under way. 14:00 – Sails back up, and a chance to work lunch off, where there are more than 1 yacht out a series of races will be run to see to determine the winning crew! Or just a leisurely afternoon catch the rays! 16:45 – All meet off the entrance of Lymington River and head back to the marina. 17:00 – Meet in the Haven Bistro for a glass of Champagne and a prize giving . 17:30 – Depart at your leisure. £295 + VAT per person based off 12 clients or 16:45 - Meet off the entrance to Cowes. 17:00 - Head into Cowes town centre, mingle in the crowds and enjoy a beer in the Cowes Week Beer tent. 18:00 - Meet an Island restaurant for dinner, a 2 course served with 4 bottles of wine per boat (excluding other Alcohol). 19:30 – with your official Cowes week Beer tent passes! Head on in to party and enjoy the evening, and the entrainment provided. 21:45 – Meet back at the RYS pontoon and board your awaiting yacht. 22:00 – Your Yacht departs for Lymington, a selection of snacks and drinks will be served. (GUEST MUST NOT BE HEAVILY UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL, AND IN A FIT STATE TO RETURN BY RIB. Enjoy the afternoon out on the water soaking up the atmosphere of Cowes week, in control of your own yacht; under the watchful eye of your professional crew. 17:45 – Arrive ashore and head to the restaurant for dinner. 18:00 – Dinner, 2 course’s served with 4 bottles of wine per boat (excluding other Alcohol). 19:30 – with your official Cowes week Beer tent passes! Head on in to party and enjoy the evening, and the entrainment provided. 21:45 – Meet back at the RYS pontoon and board your awaiting yacht. 22:00 – Your Yacht departs for Lymington, a selection of snacks and drinks will be served. Taking 7 or 8 guest per boat, why not get the whole department out, or wow your client database.
